Better decisions happen when data becomes actionable. The opportunity is to use the data to create actionable insights that actually change the trajectory. When you can identify risk earlier, understand it more clearly, and intervene with clinical context, organizations are better positioned to reduce avoidable cost without losing sight of the member experience.

That is the value of moving from reporting to action.

Healthcare costs, if you look at it, over 40% of a plan’s spend is actually only a few individuals. But too often we’re not doing anything about it. We’re saying claims are just claims, and we want to change that mindset for employer groups to say, “Claims don’t just have to be claims.”

So Kinetic Health was actually homegrown out a big broker firm over 10 years ago, and we really figured out that there was a piece missing when we were analyzing the data, and it was who was analyzing the data. We figured out there was a lot of power when you actually pair clinicians and data together to start figuring out ways that we can intervene at the human life level to change lives and then reduce healthcare costs as a result of improving healthcare conditions.

I love Claritev and the innovation they’ve brought to this partnership over the course of several years now. What’s been awesome is we’re not just looking at data, but now we’re looking at multiple layers, the provider side of things, the network side. We’re able to actually look at cost and quality metrics, and we’re taking all of that into one platform to be able to tell a bigger story and create larger savings.
