Why Investing in Our Associates Extends to Investing in Their Families

Back-to-school season is always full of possibility, and this year, 10 new college students from Claritev families have even more to celebrate. I’m incredibly proud to share that, including renewed scholarships, we’re supporting 33 students for the 2026-2027 school year, helping support their next chapter in higher education.

For me, this scholarship program reflects much more than tuition assistance. It reflects something more about how we think about our people. It’s about creating opportunities, reducing financial stress for families, and giving students the freedom to focus on learning, growing, and discovering what’s possible.

Recently, I had the privilege of hearing from two former scholarship recipients whose journeys beautifully illustrate the lasting impact that opportunity can have.

When Megan McConaghie received a Claritev Scholarship, she was pursuing her dream of becoming a dental hygienist while balancing work, college, and the financial realities of higher education. Like so many students today, she faced difficult choices about how to pay for school. The scholarship helped ease that burden, allowing her to continue her education while avoiding additional student debt.

College is really expensive, especially dental hygiene school, so your generosity has truly made a difference in my ability to continue my education,” Megan shared.

What touched me most wasn’t just how the scholarship helped Megan — it was how it inspired her to help others. Today, she volunteers through Give Kids A Smile, providing free dental care to children in need.

Because of this opportunity, I understand the impact of paying it forward, and I’m now trying to do the same.”

That is the ripple effect of investing in people.

Drushya Musham’s story reminds us that opportunity often creates possibilities we could never predict. As the daughter of a Claritev associate, she received a scholarship that was renewed throughout all four years of college. That support allowed her to immerse herself in her education instead of worrying about how to pay for it.

The funding made a huge difference for both me and my family,” she said. “It helped me graduate without student debt, which I’m extremely grateful for.”

The financial support from the scholarship gave her the freedom to explore her varied interests. Drushya pursued an interdisciplinary education that led her to found Taptic, an accessibility technology company focused on improving digital experiences for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Her work has earned international recognition, including an invitation to present at the Zero Project Conference at the United Nations. Her journey is extraordinary but it began with something simple: someone believing in her potential.

As Chief People Officer, I spend a great deal of time thinking about how we create an environment where people can do their best work, grow meaningful careers, and feel supported along the way. That commitment extends beyond our associates. It includes the families who cheer them on, make sacrifices with them, and celebrate every milestone together.

When we invest in education, we’re investing in futures. We’re helping reduce barriers so students can focus on learning instead of financial uncertainty. We’re opening doors to careers in healthcare, technology, business, and countless other fields. And sometimes, we’re helping launch entrepreneurs, innovators, and community leaders whose impact will reach far beyond themselves.

Megan and Drushya share something important in common. Both were given an opportunity — and both are now creating opportunities for others.

Stories like theirs remind me why programs like the Claritev Scholarship matter. They reflect who we are as a company and what we believe: that supporting people at important moments in their lives creates a lasting impact for families, communities, and the future.

To Megan, Drushya, and every scholarship recipient, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your journey. We can’t wait to see where your next chapter leads.
