About the Rural Health Grant

For about 30 years, prior to 2026, Claritev (then MultiPlan) established and maintained an inspirational , grantmaking program to support rural healthcare providers. Claritev Cares is carrying that tradition into the future.

Past recipients have utilized their award to introduce or expand services, education, screenings, infrastructure, and other programs aimed at improving the health of the people in their communities. The grant is available to eligible hospitals, rural health clinics and federally qualified health centers. 

  • Classified as a not-for-profit acute care in-patient hospital, rural health clinic or federally qualified health center
  • Located in a designated rural area
